Privacy Policy

For the Regulift app. Last updated: 17 September 2026.

The short version

Your training log is stored on your device. If you sign in, it syncs to our server. Coach questions go to our server. There are no ads and we do not sell your data. You can delete everything in Settings.

On your device

Your profile, workouts, sets, check-ins, photos, food log, and coach notes are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Progress photos never leave your device.

Apple Health

With your permission, Regulift reads sleep, heart-rate variability, and resting heart rate from Apple Health. These values are used on your device for the fatigue model. They are never sent to any server. This access is optional.

Account and sync (optional)

Sign in with Apple, Google, or email to create an account on Regulift's server (Cloudflare Workers and D1). When you are signed in, your profile, workouts, sets, check-ins, body measurements, and custom exercises sync to the server so your other devices and the Apple Watch stay in step. Deleting a session or your account removes it from the server. Without sign-in, nothing is uploaded.

Crew (optional)

Your public handle, display name, bio, stats, and the workouts and PRs you choose to post are visible to people who follow you. Kudos and comments are stored on our server. You can turn posting off in Settings.

Coach

When you ask the coach a question, your question, a summary of your recent training, your coach notes, and your conversation history are sent to Regulift's coach service. A third-party language-model provider writes the answer on our behalf. Conversations are not stored after the answer returns. Apple Health data is never included. On-device answers (Apple Intelligence) never leave your phone.

Dictation

When you dictate in the coach or logger, the audio clip is sent to Regulift's server for transcription (Workers AI, Whisper) and is discarded after the text returns. On-device dictation is used when the system supports it.

Food search

Barcode and text searches go to Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org) with the app's user agent. No account data is sent.

Subscriptions

Apple processes payment. RevenueCat receives the receipt to manage your entitlement. We never see your card details.

Analytics and feedback

Anonymous event analytics are collected via Cloudflare Analytics Engine. If you send feedback, the feedback text plus an anonymous device id is sent.

Advertising

There are no ads, no ad SDKs, and no trackers.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all training data removes your data from the device. Settings → Delete account removes the server copy. Deleting the app removes local data. Use Send feedback in the app to have feedback records removed.

This policy is provided in English. The app is available in English, Japanese, and Korean.
